Yes.
2. How do I frame a door into an existing block wall?
I would use Tapcon screws to attach the studs to the concrete. Tapcon screws come with a bit to pre-drill the right size hole into the concrete.
3. On an 80 inch door, what height should the header be?
The bottom of header is normally the height of the door plus 1.5 inches. Depending on the style of threshold, you may have to adjust the header height or shave the door bottom to achieve the proper seal.
4. What is the 6-8-10 method?
In order to square a corner measure from corner , one side mark 6", from same corner measure other side mark 8". When you measure from one mark to the other it will be square when you reach 10". All marks should be on the inside of lumber.
